Long before disposables and rubber pants mothers knit wool longie pants for their children to wear as cloth diaper covers. Why wool? Wool is breathable which cuts down on diaper rash, wool can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture so the sheets stay dry even at night, wool treated with lanolin is water repellent, and wool has natural antibacterial properties so it resists odor. Wool truly is natures high-performance fiber!
Llamajama wool longies are designed to be all of the above - plus they're CUTE! We hand knit our longies from super soft, merino and alpaca/merino wool yarns. Our designs are all original and since each pair is made by hand, they are all unique.
