Diamonds are a girl’s best friend... and they’ll keep her warm when
the cold winds blow if they’re all cabled up in a great pullover. Come
to think of it they’re a boy’s best friend too this time around. Of
course, an easy pattern is best so they won’t outgrow it before you
finish knitting it, so the majority of this design is basic garter
stitch and traditional 4 stitch cables.

Designed by Marie Grace of Marie Grace Designs.
Marie Grace, a home-schooling mom of 4, spends most of her time
surrounded by her family, books, and yarn balls. She learned to crochet
when she was very young but didn’t start knitting until she had kids of
her own. Nobody warned her that the desire to knit up a few baby
sweaters could quite possibly turn into a full blown obsession with
fiber.
Years later she’s still knitting and now designing. Kids-wear and
natural fibers are still her favorites and her designs reflect a
classic calm that is totally absent from her real life.
